Weaving the Web

Computing Momentum can easily help you make your web presence and leave you in control of the updates or continue to manage the site for you. We will help you to acquire a domain name, hosting service and email addresses, make the layout for your design, create a logo if needed, and put it all together for you. Browse though the samples below.

We can even teach you how to use a drag and drop web builder or how to program a website on your own. The HTML programming language (the language of the web) is quite simple to learn for those that feel inclined. Something to know now is that Google will drop page ranks if you site is not mobile device friendly. We can help with responsive design to get your site back up into the ranks. Is your site mobile friendly? Click here to see if your site is mobile friendly from Google Developers.

Gamiing Nature Centre

Gamiing Website

Mieke Schipper, the Owner/Volunteer/Executive Director of Gamiing Nature Centre, asked me to work with her to create this wonderful template for the SohoLaunch web managment system. The template was a fun project as I drew the pond at the bottom of the page with the ducks and heron. It was a pleasure to create this site for her. Mieke has done so much for us as a community in educating people about the wetlands and the environment within the Kawartha Lakes. Go enjoy a walk through the trails or learn more about the environment or environmental issues at Gamiing Nature Centre located on the shores of Pigeon Lake.

Knox Presbyterian Bobcaygeon

Knox Bobcaygeon

The Knox Presbyterian Church of Bobcaygeon was in need of a new website I was asked to help out. I created this responsive site design for them with the guidance of some of the parishers. The responsive website design was interesting to come up with and still allow basic web editing to be completed by members of the church without interferring with the code. It is really cool to see a site work on any device available on the market today. Drop in for a visit or just to peek at twhat I have done.

Jilesens Service Centre

Jilesens Service Centre Website Photo

This site was created for Cornelius Jilesen and his family owned business to give them a presence on the web. The site was designed to give their clients a new way to look at their used car inventory from the comfort of their own homes. Cornelius has been operating the business in the same location within the Kawartha Lakes area since 1971. Drop by and see what the Jilesen family can do for you!

KJ's Camper Rentals

Kelly Manns, owner of KJ's Camper Rentals gave me the opportunity to create a 'light and lively' site for her recreational trailer rental business. Kelly has always been a pleasure to work with. Need to try your hand at camper trailer camping? Visit Kelly at http://www.kjscamperrentals.com to book your rental today.
We are working on another website project for her other business, Scrub N Medthredz, that caters to the medical profession by offering quality uniforms and sweats.

Pete's Pages

Pete's Pages Website Photo

This is the site that has provided many years with a sandbox to play in while learning website programming with different languages, styles, designs and images. It is mostly just a place today for a memorandum for a good friend of mine, Matt Haensgen. As always, this project is never completed, but have a look at some of the old school technologies that are incorporated within.

Red Deer Log Cabins

Sandra Gies, proprietor of Red Deer Log Cabins, gave me the opportunity to help her create a nature based site using the Weebly online drag 'n' drop website editor for her fine tourist establishment just outside of world renowned Algonquin Provincial Park. The sights and sounds found at Red Deer are amazing. Get out of the city and visit Red Deer on the Madawaska river!
